Bianca and Phil – Wedding at White Eagle Golf Club in Naperville IL
Well hi again, everyone!
Let’s give it up for one fabulous couple, who just so happen to be newlyweds. Congratulations, Mr. and Mrs. Szuck!
I absolutely loved photographing Bianca and Philip’s wedding las Saturday at White Eagle Golf Club in Naperville. The couple got ready at their gorgeous wedding venue in Naperville then went for the church ceremony at St. Mary of Gostyn Church in Downers Grove.
How they met:
Bianca and Phil started talking on an online dating app called Coffee Meets Bagel in September 2018. After months of messaging back and forth, it led to no official dates and the two drifted apart. However, in April 2019, Phil reached out to Bianca out of the blue to reconnect. Phil tried to plan two dates in the same week but Bianca was hesitant to accept and didn’t want history to repeat itself. While trying to convince her to go on the first date, Phil was already planning their second date to a White Sox game. Surprisingly, she agreed and the two went on their first date to Emporium Arcade Bar. Their connection was so strong that they made their relationship official a week later.
Proposal:
On October 10th, 2020, Phil set up what Bianca thought was a regular night out in downtown Chicago (first time since before the lockdown). Before dinner, he took her to Ping Tom Memorial Park in Chinatown for a walk since it was the last warm weekend. Phil and Bianca stopped on a bridge and overlooked the Chicago River and skyline at sunset. Shortly after, Phil got down on one knee and proposed. After briefly blacking out, Bianca said yes! The rest of the evening, they celebrated with dinner at RPM Seafood.
Sum up our wedding:
Honestly, our wedding was better than we expected. It was packed with great food, great drinks, great music, great company but most importantly, you could feel the love in the room. Guests traveled from other states and countries – that made it so special. The union of our families was incredible to watch throughout the day.
“The One” Venue:
White Eagle Golf Club was chosen mainly for its reputation. However, when Phil and Bianca were venue searching, it was a no-brainer because of its location. The well-maintained golf course with the houses in the background was priceless. The venue was spacious, light and airy – Bianca and Phil knew that their guests would feel comfortable and enjoy the outdoor terraces overlooking the scenery.
Advice to Brides and Grooms planning:
Bianca and Phil’s advice to all brides and grooms who are currently planning a wedding would be to not stress and over-think about each little detail. In the end, each detail will come together perfectly and if something does go wrong…honestly, your guests won’t notice. Enjoy each moment of your wedding day because it truly does go by fast!
Their wedding day was impressive! It did rain a lot and we even got a tornado watch warning but it all ended beautifully and we had a perfect light for bridal photos at White Eagle Golf Club in Naperville.
We finished the photo session around White Eagle Golf Club just in time for the reception to start.
Honeymoon:
Although Bianca and Phil aren’t taking their honeymoon right away, it’ll take place in Turks and Caicos. Their ideal honeymoon was always meant to be tropical, private and full of relaxation. Wedding planning can be exhausting so this would be the perfect getaway to start off married life!
