Wedding at Victoria in the Park in Mount Prospect
Jenifer & Tim
It’s wedding bells everywhere for Jenifer and Tim. The bride and the groom are now finally set to say ‘I do’ on their day of matrimony. Coming along are their twelve gorgeous bridesmaids together with their fourteen dashing groomsmen. The bride and her maids got prepped with their gowns and makeup at the Double Tree in Arlington Heights as the groomsmen, all suited and gelled up, made their way to the wedding venue. Jenifer and Tim’s wedding was one of the largest bridal parties we have ever photographed and it was very exciting for us to have worked on it.
Before the event, we did the first look at Victoria in the Park located in Mount Prospect and
found a good place where the bridal party could stay. The party can take place at the balcony and that is where they can watch the slideshow of the first look. We then continued in our journey for the photo session going to downtown Chicago and to tell you the truth, it was freezing. We took shots of the Christmas decorations at the Chicago Board of Trade. When we were done there, we set out for our last adventure. We were supposed to be at the Union Station but the driver dropped us at the
wrong place and we all had to walk along the train tracks. We do not regret this at all because it was a lot of fun and it truly felt like a real adventure. We got there eventually and were thankful that we were not lost for too long.
After two hours passed during our photo session, we headed back to Victoria in the Park for the ceremony where they exchanged their vows and rings. It was very heartfelt and shed tears made by many (and some of us). We stayed for the reception as well, Sarah and Leane of “You name it Events” took charge of organizing the event and as expected, the flow of the party was smooth with no problems at all.
The beautiful floral arrangements done by “Forget me not Floral Design” spread throughout the venue with such an attractive look giving it a blissful ambiance perfect for both the ceremony and the reception. We cannot forget the music and sounds played during the event, of course. The DJ there was Derek from Back Third Audio helping keep the party alive.
Last time we photographed at Victoria in the Park it was at Daniela and Jose wedding.
