Aaron and Jessica’s wedding at Venuti in Addison
Spring is finally here! The flowers are blooming, the sun is shining, the birds singing, and one couple has decided to say the “I dos” in front of their family and friends. And we were more than happy to support their decision and join their celebration, capturing the joyous moments of it all.
Meeting with the photographer
We met our beautiful couple, Aaron and Jessica, two years ago at a Bridal Show in Elgin when they booked our studio, the H photography, for their special day. A year ago, we decided to have an engagement photo session in the windy city of Chicago, displaying the young and vibrant love for all the passers-by to see.
After a city-infused photo session, we met again our couple and a video partner Gaby from Media in Black in our favorite place at Starbucks on Randall Road to discuss details regarding the wedding.
The beginning of a perfect day
It was a beautiful sunny day at the Christ Community Church in St. Charles. Our bridal party, together with the bride and groom were already there, getting ready. They wanted to make the day as special as possible, so, instead of seeing each other, they decided to write letters, expressing their innermost emotions. Aaron and Jessica exchanged the letters right before the ceremony. The reactions were magnificent and we were there to capture every love-infused and an overwhelming snapshot of them both.
The ceremony
The moment the bride graciously walked into the church was breathtaking. Aaron, accompanied by his groomsmen/comrades from the Navy, could not hide his emotions even if he tried. Love was definitely in the air. The bride and groom showed their love again, exchanging a few words. The father of the bride sang for the merry couple, whereas Aaron and Jessica offered flowers to their mothers and built a unity cross, a symbol of their faith and love, in front of everyone. After the blessing and the readings, they were presented as a husband and wife. All the guests got up, enthusiastically applauded the couple and threw confetti in the air. While the two most important people of the wedding sneaked in a BMW limo and headed off to the next destination, the rest of the party went to the Venuti’s.
The wedding photo session of the bridal party
We met the couple together with the bridal party at the wedding photo session destination. The fun we had can be seen in each photo. The bride and groom, together with the bridal party wanted a couple of quirky photos as well, expressing their young and fun-loving nature.
Wedding Reception at Venuti’s
The elegance of the room, with the white and powdery pink flowers, glasses of Champaign at the entrance and the magnificent cake in the middle was breathtaking.
Though we have already been here, photographing the wedding of Emily and Frank, the room looked completely different now.
To bring a bit of sports spirit, Aaron and Jessica, devoted fans of Blackhawks, brought a Jersey for their signature board.
After the introduction of the parents and bridal party, it was time for the speeches. The father of the bride gave the most emotional speech of them all. There was not a dry eye in the room.
After the speeches, it was time to party. Mike Lettieri from MR music together with his sons made sure that all the guests had fun until the very end of the party. Media in Black brought the entertainment to a higher level, using the video booth, where the guests playing in the background were recorded in slow motion. Everything went in the perfect order, with the guests laughing their hearts out, the couple feeling overjoyed and us feeling excited to be able to share this special moment with them all.
Congratulations to you, Aaron and Jessica!
