Winter wedding photography with Delia and Eddy at Fountain Blue in Des Plaines
After the farm-inspired and nature-infused engagement photo session in Barrington and Algonquin, Eddy and Delia exchanged their cowboy boots for something a bit more elegant for their magical winter wedding tale in Chicago.
Dressed in a short-sleeved gorgeous long white gown, Delia was a picture-perfect of a bride, whereas Eddy was dressed to impress in his dark blue suit and a white shirt.
The wedding started with a nice bridal party with all their friends from Chicago, Seattle, and Oregon and it continued to Bethany, Chicago, where they exchanged their “I dos” in a traditional Christian Pentecostal wedding.
Romanticism permeated through every rose petals that two adorable little girls threw and Grecian gowns that the bridesmaids wore. Love was definitely in the air, while Delia and Eddy walked the white carpet and exchanged their vows. We were more than happy to be there and capture it all, every single moment of their precious once-in-a-lifetime experience. After the wedding ceremony, all friends and family continued their celebration of this young couple’s union at the Fountain Blue in Des Plaines.
The bride and the groom together with the whole bridal party came there in style, in a white party bus, big enough to place all 14 of them and still have enough room for a bit of fun.
The reception went according to the plan, with a lot of style and elegance; everything was pure perfection, from the spacious venue, decorations, and flowers all the way to the right china and glasses.
And while the guests were having fun, eating a cake, drinking, and laughing, the couple sneaked out to have another photo session capturing the perfect winter sun and idyllic winter scenery. The bridesmaids and groomsmen joined them, goofing around and trying to find the right pose. They were a photographer’s dream, ready to accept all the suggestions and advice.
The photographer, yours truly, was more than happy to have been working with such a vibrant and fun group of people.
Group photos dominated this wedding, as every member of the family, together with all of their friends were more than happy to rejoice at Delia and Eddy’s wedding, spreading their love and supporting their decision to join hands in matrimony.
To go with the theme of the engagement photo session, frames were once again big, and everyone wanted to join in the fun and get their photo in the frame.
