Mihai & Simona – Romanian Wedding
Pack your bags, readers, because we’re headed to Romania! Back in July we hopped in a plane and made the trek to the gorgeous Balada Wedding Venu in Suceava where Simona and Mihai tied the knot. The couple got ready at the hotel where the wedding venue was.
After Simona and Mihai got ready at Balada hotel in Suceava they met the families by the hotel lobby and start moving towards one of the well-known churches (Saint John the New Monastery
is a Romanian Orthodox monastery in Suceava, Romania. Built between 1514 and 1522, the monastery church is one of eight buildings that make up the churches of Moldavia UNESCO ) in the town for the wedding ceremony. The mayor of the city officiated their civil union and the head of Orthodox Church in Bucovina county officiated the religious ceremony.
These two had the whole space around the church for the photo session which was great beacause rain was suppose to start so we could take few wedding portraits before the rain.
Last images from the photo session were taken by a old Moldavian fortress. Almost 600 years old!
Here it comes the awesome party that was filled with anything and everything. Open bar, live music, photo-booth, special coktail bar and a lot of surprises with national music stars.
It was definitely a celebration to remember. Now if only we could figure out how to transport all that happines and action back to Chicago…
