University Club of Chicago Wedding Photos with Austen and Emily

Austen and Emily came all the way from London UK, so this was kind of like the ultimate
Chicago Destination Wedding!

Couple Story

Emily’s family is from Illinois but now that she is with Austen, she moved to the UK and they will be having another wedding there, which is scheduled for June of next year. They chose the University Club of Chicago for its unique English style. Emily and Austen had their engagement photos taken around Michigan Avenue and Navy Pier a few days earlier. They are a very fine and fun couple, which made our photo session very enjoying.

Wedding Ceremony at the University Club of Chicago

They had a nice ceremony with lots of laughter and emotions. We all felt and saw how much Austen and Emily loved each other very much, as well as both their families. Dr. Kyle Nash
did an amazing job on organizing and straightening up the event.

The ceremony opened by the Bethany reading a poem and then continued on to the Special Remembrance song. Another reading from the Corinthians then followed the song. They had the Blessing and Exchanging of the rings then you may now kiss the bride! A congratulations from everyone was expressed by their cheering and clapping as the newlyweds shared their kiss.

Cocktail and Reception at the University Club of Chicago

Soon, everyone moved on to the cocktail and then the reception. The rest of the night went smooth with the introduction of the bride and the groom.

The father and sister of the bride gave heartfelt, emotional speeches and the best man got to present his speech as well. After everybody got themselves together again wiping the waterworks and using up all their tissues, it was time for some cake.

Austen and Emily joined hands in the cake cutting and fed each other with mouthfuls of love. Next, they both went on to the dance floor and had their first dance as a married couple. Then it was time to party.

Chris, our DJ Chiguy, did an amazing job at keeping the dance floor busy and even teaching the guests some new dance moves. We had great moments for an amazing photo shoot from the 12th floor of the University Club of Chicago.

We got some night shots for the bride and groom with Millennium Park and Chicago skyline in background. It was a very happy and successful day, can’t wait for the next wedding!
