Smith’s Central Weddings – Krystal and Jordan

Krystal and Jordan’s Wedding hosted at Smith’s Central Weddings and Events in McHenry IL

Let’s give it up for one fabulous couple, who just so happen to be newlyweds. Congratulations, Mr. and Mrs. Wert!

I absolutely loved photographing Krystal and Jordon’s wedding on August 12th at Smith’s Central Weddings and Events. Krystal and Jordan met through mutual friends in the summer of 2011. 

I met Jordan for the first time when I his friend Shawn wedding the Lodge at Brother’s Cove in Tennessee.

Shawn was one of the best men and his daughter Danielle was a flower girl! We started the day at Smith’s Central in McHenry with Krystal getting ready and doing a first look with her bridesmaids and her father and brothers.

I asked Krystal about her dress.

Where did you find it, how did you choose it, how did you know it was the one?
“Found at Volle’s in Lake Zurich. I never thought I would choose that style until my mom and step mom told me to try a dress in that style. I put the dress on and I cried! It was the one!!”

 Did you see each other before the wedding? If not, did you like waiting or would you have rather done it differently? Tell me why or why not!
“We did not! It made that moment walking down the isle so much more special. “

They did not see each other before the wedding.  It made that moment walking down the aisle so much more special. 

We took few minutes for bridal pictures by the Veteran’s Memorial Park in McHenry. Since they are expecting a baby, we included few maternity poses.

 What were you most anxious, nervous or fearful about regarding your wedding day and what was the outcome?
Krystal: I was scared I was going to mess up when repeating back what we were supposed to say at the alter. Other fear was tripping!

Their wedding day was perfect!! (Insert style of the wedding and how it showed who they are).
