Portrait & Professional Headshots Photography
Irina was a pleasure to photograph. She came to The H Wedding Photography studio for headshots. She was a “model” subject. She is a native of Romania who has found success in the Northwest Suburbs of Illinois as a pageant winner, most recently beating several outstanding women to claim the title of Miss Huntley in 2011. She is currently a very busy student at Missouri State University, where she is in charge of activities management on campus. In her spare time, she used to work as an Associate with Hollister who handles everything from customer styling to model recruitment.
Irina arrived at our studio ready for many poses. It was a joy to lend our professional headshots skills to Irina outside of the typical hectic frenzy that most brides experience on their wedding day. We were able to capture several looks she desired using a combination of staged and natural light.
In order to capture the stunning beauty that made Huntley proud, we shot Irina from a range of intimate close-up and waist-up shots in order to make her marvelous features prominent in our portraits. Irina styled herself in several different looks—from elegant evening to daytime casual. While using contrasts, black and white scales, and natural light, we also changed background scenery to integrate each look into a seamless photograph. Irina quickly adjusted to our direction to pose from many angles to portray her many sides—from studious student, to All-American girl next door, to dynamic pageant beauty, to rising professional. Irina left our studios with a versatile portfolio of headshots she will be able to use for business, web/social media, professional, casual and competition purposes.
Here at H Photography, we are able to accommodate residents or those willing to travel to the Northwest Suburbs with a variety of portrait packages beyond wedding event photography. Please use our convenient online form to Contact Us if you have any particular requests.
