Recently, I had the pleasure of photographing Megan and Mike’s wedding, a day filled with love, joy, and unforgettable moments. Their wedding at Naper Settlement in Naperville was nothing short of magical, with a perfect blend of historical charm and modern romance.
Megan and Mike’s Love Story
Megan and Mike’s journey began the summer before they left for college. Both working as lifeguards, Mike asked Megan out just before the summer ended. Despite attending colleges in different states, their love remained strong. Mike visited Megan the first weekend after she left for college, and he continued to do so throughout their four years of long-distance relationship. Their dedication and love for each other culminated in a beautiful wedding day, celebrated with family and friends.
The day started with Megan getting ready at her home. Surrounded by her bridesmaids, the atmosphere was filled with excitement and anticipation. The getting-ready photos captured these intimate moments – from the final touches on Megan’s makeup to the heartfelt exchanges between her and her bridesmaids. Meanwhile, Mike prepared at Naper Settlement, where a few candid shots highlighted his excitement and the camaraderie with his groomsmen.
