A beautiful wedding day during a Coronavirus Pandemic
A Big Day is a Big Day no matter what’s going on in the world.
Lisa and Nick got married under unprecedented times and I so admired their courage and willingness to keep the wedding day. The bride’s dress was seriously gorgeous and as I started the getting ready session at their home, I couldn’t not include their cat ” Goliath”. He was watching Lisa getting ready then she start playing on Lisa’s gown.
Their wedding day was truly special. Under such challenging times, the church had to limit the ceremony to 10 people. They had a live Facebook transmission so everyone could see the ceremony on their devices.
They decided to not see each other until Lisa was walking down the aisle. The emotion I captured in Nick’s eyes, was truly priceless!
All their friends were waiting in the parking lot outside the church. As soon as Lisa and Nick were declared husband and wife they walked out and greeted their friends.
We had a lot of fun taking wedding pictures! We started with the photos at St. Mary Little Church in Mundelein.
As you might remember from the engagement session
Nick and Lisa are big fans of Taco Bell. So, we took some fun photos at a Taco Bell in Libertyville.
Last step for wedding photo session was by Long Lake in Ingleside.
The Reception was intimate at their home in Ingleside. I think it was one of the most emotional wedding receptions. Everyone there had the best time. They laughed, danced, cried and of course enjoyed the good Mexican buffet.
It was such a delight to work with Lisa and Nick and I wish them many wonderful years to come.
