Star Wars Engement in Winter
You don’t have to ask me twice to head to West Dundee – my happy place – for a winter engagement shoot! That’s where I photographed Karianne and Jamez, and it was a “snow blast!”
We headed to the NW hills around noon but the sun was hiding behind some tick clouds which made the light especially rich, and the snow shimmery. The couple
I asked Karianne few questions:
-How did you two meet?
We met on tinder (I know lol) 6 years ago in June! Our first date was Taco Bell (:
2.) How did Jamez propose?
We went to Disney world and he proposed in front of the millennium falcon! (I love Star Wars)
3.) Tell me about the details you’re most excited about for your upcoming wedding! Ex. The cake, the vendors, the location, etc.
I’m most excited to marry my absolute best friend! It’s also themed Star Wars so I’m excited to incorporate that into the decor! I’m also excited to have a fun night with all my closest friends and family!
5.) What kind of look were you going for?
We were looking for a cute romantic look! We both love the winter so we wanted to do it in the snow.
6.) Do you have any tips or advice for other couples about to have engagement photos taken?
Have fun!
7.) How was your overall session experience?
10/10.
Karianne wore a black shirt, red skirt and leggings and she look absolutely incredible in, and Jamez opted for a red flannel and dark jeans, which blended into the scenery perfectly!
And I just HAVE to show you the ring!
For their wedding day in November, these two lovebirds are heading to Bartlett Hills Golf Course for their ceremony and then for the reception. I have no doubts that it’s going to be a beautiful day full of love and joy!
