Ashley and Seth’s Wedding Photos – Grand Geneva Resort, WI
When I first met Ashley and Seth, we really hit it off and had a great connection. Ashley and Seth had their wedding on the same day as my birthday, so we had a great time all hanging out together. The couple remembered my birthday and did something extra special for me as I was photographing them. They brought out a birthday cake for me and sang happy birthday. It was a very nice and unexpected surprise.
I started with the ladies getting their hair and make up done at Grand Geneva Resort in Wisconsin.
When I first saw them, they were in light pink bathrobes.The ladies are incredibly easy going and Patty, brought a selfie stick. All of Ashley’s friends love taking photos and were taking many selfies throughout the wedding.Seth was getting ready at the same hotel, so it was easy to cover both the getting ready process.When I into into the men’s getting ready room, Seth’s mom was tying Seth’s tie and making sure Seth was looking neat and clean.Seth posing in a dramatic light by the piano.
One of my favorite portraitWhile we were waiting for the ladies to finish up, the boys and I had a mini photo session at the hotel lobby.
Ashley walked down the aisle with her brother Kyle.
They had a picture of Seth’s father in his place, because he had unfortunately passed away, but everyone had him in their hearts.
The ceremony was right outside of the hotel and beautifully placed in front of a lake.
Ashley’s father, Steven Brown, was the officiant for the wedding and he did an amazing job. It was very moving.The ceremony began shortly before sunset, so we had a lot of beautiful warm light surrounding us.When the ceremony was finished, we did not have a lot of time for a photo session, so we took a couple of one-on-one photos of the newly weds near the lake as the sun was going down.

The bridesmaids having fun with Seth!Kathy, the venue manager, was very quick to point us to the best places to take pictures on the property. The bridal party was a lot of fun to work with and we had a couple of fun sessions with them pulling both the bride and groom away from each other near the lake.
To end the day, the reception started with an introduction of the couple and bridal party, then there was cake cutting and speeches along with dinner.
When dinner was done, it was the father/daughter and mother/son dance.
The event ended with everyone dancing on the dance floor.
