Almir and Sara – Engagement Photo Session in Geneva at Fabyan Japanese Garden
Last week I photographed Almir and Sara. This soon-to-be wedded couple will be getting married at Ely’s Mill in Gatlinburg, Tennessee next October. Just their parents and siblings will be witnesses.
Sara and Almir met working at the same engineering firm. They went from work buddies to hanging out outside of work. They decided to chose the Japanese Garden at Fabyan Forest Preserve for their engagement.
I asked Almir how he proposed. Here is the answer: “We had discussed it earlier and Sara picked out a ring style. She didn’t know when or where the proposal would be. We walked to the forest preserve by our house. I walked Sara over to the edge of the water and as soon as I got down on one knee, a swan swam over.” What a sweet story!
Sara and Almir are most excited about seeing the fall foliage in the Smoky Mountains for their intimate wedding. I know it’s going to be a gorgeous wedding! Future wedding details aside, let’s get to the present: Sara and Almir’s engagement session! These two are real fun to work with! They even scouted in advance and had great place suggestion for their engagement photos in Geneva Il.
Their good looks, fabulous outfit choices, a sublime location and their genuine love for each other made this photo shoot one to remember. They went for spring look and Almir wore a green long sleeve polo and jeans and Sara wore an off shoulder white and pink floral dress
Here’s to many, many happy years together!
