Engagement Photography in Kane County

Jason and Stephanie – Engagement Photos in West Dundee in Kane County IL

Two weeks ago, I met up with Jason and Stephanie at Emmets  in West Dundee for their engagement session. I truly loved this shoot because not only did I get to photograph these two (who are CLEARLY madly in love with each other), their son, Thomas, was there for the shoot, as well! We started off by photographing all three of them. Thomas was so fun to watch while this was going on! He was like “what’s going one? every time these two went for a kiss”.

Jason and Stephanie met while working at a local restaurant together.They ended up working a lot of shifts together and became close friends quick.

As for the proposal, Jason proposed while we they were doing renovations to their newly purchased house. It was just the two of them and very emotional. We chose downtown Dundee for the pictures because it’s where they met and where they made the most memories with each other. 

I loved their outfit. It was a brighter pastel colors for the shoot. Colors that will stand out but at the same time not be too crazy.

I asked Jason:

Do you have any tips or advice for other couples about to have engagement photos taken?

– Have fun! Don’t take it too seriously. Enjoy every minute together and be silly.

In just a few short months, Jason and Stephanie will venture to Wild Onion Banquets in Lake Barrington to make it official. Here’s to a live full of health, happiness, and family bonding!
