Aaron and Jessica- Engagement Photo Session in the City
Spring is the season that relieves us from the colder months of before and brings us into enjoying warmer weather and blooming flowers. The city of Chicago boasts some of the country’s finest sights that are only enhanced with the start of the spring season. The stunning architecture downtown as well as the natural landscapes of Millennium Park drew Aaron and Jessica in. They wanted to have their engagement photos taken in an urban atmosphere, and what better than Chicago?
The bustling city does not stop, busses, trains and taxis continued on their routes as the engaged couple stood still for their urban photos. They were indeed the center of attention as time seemed to pause for their shots along the city sidewalks. Beautiful blue skies illuminated the sparkle in their eyes as they gazed at one another, their image reflecting in the well-known Chicago Bean. Other illusionary tricks were played when their figures were copied onto a pond on the ground.
Aaron is a veteran who served in the Afghanistan war. In one picture where they are on a bridge, he is seen holding his beautiful fiancée Jessica closely, and kissing her as if he had just returned home. It was important for them to have their photographs taken in Chicago because of all the depth the structural designs could provide. The couple playfully posed as they held a cheery banner that spelled out the word “engaged.”
After some shots by the arc in Millennium Park, the couple continued on with the photographers. The session ended at the romantic Chicago Firehouse Restaurant on Michigan Avenue where they celebrated the one year that had passed since the proposal happened. Sitting at a cozy booth, behind a bouquet of tulips, Jessica and Aaron smiled just thinking about their time together. Their wedding is expected to take place at the Venuti’s Ristorante and Banquet Hall in Addison, sometime in 2014.
