Today’s post is about Michelle and Dan’s wedding at Elements at Water Street!
These two met since the high school and college years, working in a restaurant. I had the pleasure of taking their engagement photos at the Fabyan Park. Their fury baby Myley was part of the session and made it fun!
We started at Michelle’s house while the bride and bridesmaids were getting ready.
At their house, Dan was getting ready and had some fun shots including Myley.
Before we headed to the ceremony I wanted to get a last shot with Michelle in backyard and incorporate a beautiful tree in the background. The story is that Michelle planted that tree when she was little.
There’s something about a classic, formal wedding inside of a church that gets me every time. It just feels so pure and cinematic. Our Lady of Mercy in Aurora offered exact that feeling.
I love the pews, the pulpit, the architecture, and the stained glass windows. The bride and groom were declared husband and wife and the wedding ceremony was done. The bridal party got into the limo and went to Naperville Riverwalk for the portrait session. Millenium Carillion was our first stop.
Since we were by The Naperville Riverwalk, we wanted to make sure we took advantage of the river, wooden bridge and of course the Quary Lake.
About their wedding venue: The Elements at Water street.Elements is located in the heart of Naperville downtown by the river. It occupies the whole second floor of the Hotel Indigo and it can hosts more than 200 guests. Cheryl Cady was the Venue Coordinator for Michelle and Dan’s wedding and she did a terrific job. Everything was smooth and well prepared in detail. Michelle and Dan had a lot of fun and everyone danced and enjoyed their beautiful celebration.
You guys are going to rock this whole being married thing. Thanks for sharing your day with us!
