Brian and Weronika: A Fusion of Romanian and Polish Traditions at Victoria in the Park
I’m excited to share a sneak peek of Brian and Weronika’s beautiful wedding day! Their celebration was a perfect blend of Romanian and Polish traditions, reflecting their rich cultural heritage.
How They Met & The Proposal: Brian and Weronika’s love story began back in their sophomore year of high school. Years later, Brian proposed on a stunning beach in Negril, Jamaica, marking the start of their journey to this special day.
The day began with Brian getting ready at his parents’ home in Skokie, surrounded by the warmth of family. Meanwhile, Weronika prepared for the big day at their cozy apartment in Niles, where anticipation filled the air. The excitement reached a peak during their first look, with Brian presenting Weronika with a stunning bouquet of flowers, setting a romantic tone for the day.
We then made our way to downtown Chicago, where we captured breathtaking bridal portraits by the iconic Wrigley Building on the Magnificent Mile. The city’s vibrant energy and stunning architecture provided the perfect backdrop for these memorable moments.
The Catholic ceremony took place at the historic Holy Trinity Church in Chicago. One of the most nerve-wracking moments for Weronika was walking down the aisle, but it turned out perfectly. We captured some incredible moments, including Weronika’s walk down the aisle with her father and breathtaking balcony shots of the ceremony.
Reception & Favorite Moments: The celebration continued at the wonderful Victoria in the Park venue in Mount Prospect. Brian and Weronika chose this location because they had attended a wedding there before and fell in love with the place. The reception was filled with joy, love, and cultural traditions. Their first dance as husband and wife was to “How Long Will I Love You” by Ellie Goulding. One of their favorite moments from the wedding was seeing all their guests having fun and enjoying themselves.
Reflections on the Day: When asked about their overall wedding experience, Brian and Weronika described it as stressful at the beginning and relieved at the end, but overall, it was amazing. Their advice to other couples planning a wedding is to try not to stress because, in the end, it will be magical.
The Dresses: Weronika wore two beautiful dresses on her wedding day. The first was from Dantela Bridal Couture, and the second from Mira Couture. She knew each dress was the one as soon as she tried them on, perfectly fitting the vision she had for her special day.
Looking Back: When asked if their wedding was different from how they had always imagined it, they both agreed it was better than they envisioned. The day was filled with unforgettable moments, from heartfelt speeches to lively dancing, making it a truly special occasion.
The beautiful wedding at Victoria in the Park was brought to life by an amazing team: Ciprian Pop kept the energy high as DJ, Glam it Up provided stunning flowers, Glam Atelier perfected the makeup and hair, The 312 Limo ensured stylish transportation, Martin Events captured the day on video, and H Photography documented every moment through photos.
