Crystal Lake Wedding at Holiday Inn with Adam and Sierra
Congratulations Adam and Sierra! The couple met during high school thru friends. Adam proposed in their home town by the river in a cute little pavilion (St. Charles, IL) by planning a walk before his birthday dinner. They’ve been together on and off for about 10 years.
Time to get back to the wedding day! What a great day we had at Holiday Inn – Crystal Lake! They got ready at the Holiday Inn as everything happened right there.
When I first saw Sierra she was getting ready in the room 415 surrounded by bridesmaids and moms. After finishing last touch up she got in her picture-perfect white wedding gown that she found at Kathryn’s Bridal in McHenry. It was the first one she tried on and as she kept trying others on, She kept going back to it!
The groom with the dads and groomsmen was getting ready in the Algonquin room. His brother was his best man and helped Adam on the boutonniere and they even had a shot before the first loo. Actually we even did a first touch between Adam and Sierra.
The wedding went off without a hitch and had an amazing weather. We were able to work together to get the best photos possible of the couple’s special day. The reception was so much fun! Everyone loved the food catered by Holiday Inn. The couple was suppose to have wedding in 2020! It was really tough to have to go through COVID and keep replanning it but they finally did it!!
I asked the couple what advice would you offer to other couples planning a wedding? and the answer was: “Don’t worry about the little things and make it what you want. Don’t try to please everyone & the small details don’t matter!”
