Chicago Intimate Wedding with Rose and Robert
This blog post is about a wedding that was small and intimate and mainly because of the times we live in! The Covid 19 Pandemic has changed how weddings take place.
Rose and Robert were suppose to have a big beautiful wedding at Millennium Knickerbocker Hotel on August 8thbut instead they had an intimate wedding at Salvatore in Chicago. Hopefully the pandemic will be gone by next year and they can celebrate next year and have the big reception.
Heading to Millennium Knickerbocker Hotel for Rose’s getting ready photos we knew that it was going to be an extraordinarily special day. We did take photos with Rose and bridal party and then headed to Wrigley Building area for the first look with Robert.
After getting few images with the bridal party at Millennium Knickerbocker Hotel we headed to Wrigley building place for the first look.
As you’d expect, the bridesmaids and groomsmen were just as much fun. I mean, there are wedding parties… and then there are wedding PARTIES. The fun continued as we touched some of the most iconic place for wedding photos in Chicago: Lasalle Bridge, Chicago Board of Trade and of course the Adler Planetarium – the best point for a view over Chicago skyline.
Wedding Ceremony took place at: Lincoln Park Presbyterian Church.
Intimate Wedding Reception took place at Salvatore in Lincoln Park.
I find that one of the best things about small weddings is that they lend themselves to especially tender moments. They also somehow feel a little more at ease, and that’s exactly what the vibe was on this beautiful day in August. I’ll leave you with a few more of our favorite moments from the day, and with a big congrats to the newlyweds!

Rose you made a “beautiful” bride. ❤️ You and Robert look so happy. Very intimate wedding but perfect. Loved the pictures from all the different Chicago locations- very impressive! Hope your honeymoon went well in Tahiti and can’t wait for the reception next summer to see you all!!
