Kelly and Jason – Summer Wedding at CD & Me in Frankfort IL
I’ve got another wonderful wedding for you guys today! The happy couple consists of Kelly and Jason, two people that anyone would love to know. They met while both attending Northwestern University as peer advisers (aka orientation leaders) their junior year. They have been together for 7 years. Jason proposed on their 5th dating anniversary – they went to their usual pre-anniversary dinner drinks at the Signature Room on the 95th floor of the John Hancock building.
I photographed their engagement session in a foggy Chicago, two years ago. The couple got ready at the Wingate by Wyndham Tinley Park then moved to CD & ME for first look.
Kelly and Jason had an amazing outdoor wedding ceremony at CD&Me. The weather was just beautiful. They wanted to have a fun indoor/outdoor wedding where guests would have a great time celebrating with us! They wanted it to be relatively laid back but with awesome food and high energy! And they had it!!!
Their wedding day was truly wonderful. Best moments were the special video from the bride’s father and seeing the packed dance floor! The bride’s dress was seriously gorgeous, too. And I’m not just saying that! They danced to their first song Say You won’t Let Go by James Arthur. Father-daughter dance by” my girl by the temptations” and mother-son dance on ” my wish by rascal flats”.
