Best Engagement Photos in Chicago with Dorothy and Abraham

Abraham and Dorothy are a young couple who are in love with Chicago’s architecture as much as with one another. Their engagement session took place at the end of April, and they wanted to have some urban photos taken throughout the city. As the two lovebirds walked down the Chicago streets, Millennium Park and the Chicago Theater were some of the landmarks the photographer captured. The Bean was also part of their session and the famous skyline made an appearance as well.

Hand in hand, the engaged pair posed as they strolled along the city, stopping to include scenes of brick walls in the background. Downtown Chicago is filled with picture-perfect pockets and spaces to shoot. Dorothy and Abraham exchanged glances at one another as they passed by big buildings, stopping only to embrace each other. In front of a bed of tulips, Abraham sat on the stoop of a concrete structure as Dorothy lovingly leaned on him.

Changing out of their formal clothes and into a more casual look, the duo playfully rolled in the grass as Lake Michigan gleamed behind them. Standing beside a blooming tree, Dorothy and Abraham held hands and stared into each other’s eyes.  In one shot, on an observatory deck, they tilted onto a glass edifice which created a reflection of themselves.   These creative photos for engagement sessions are part of the overall wedding experience. Abraham and Dorothy’s big day will take place this August in Wilmington, Illinois.

During an engagement session, the soon to wed couple has an opportunity to meet with their photographer. The introduction allows everyone to get to know each other and build a relationship based on style. The engaged couple will be able to express to their photographer what they like and in turn, the photographer will be more than happy to generate images to their liking. What is even better is that when the big day comes along, a relationship has already been established and there is little to no need for further instruction.
