Last month we met up with Annie and Eric at Fabyan Forest Preserve in Geneva for their engagement session. I truly loved this shoot because not only did I get to photograph these two but their dog, Luno, was there for the shoot, as well!
I asked Annie how the whole photo shoot was, and she said, “It was fabulous!!! Doru and Claudia were so professional and friendly. We had so much fun and can’t wait to see our pictures yay!!! .”
I have asked the couple a few questions and they kind to answer:
– Tell me about the details you’re most excited about for your upcoming wedding! Ex. The cake, the vendors, the location, etc.
Annie: Probably the Cambodia’s traditional wedding. We both will be wearing traditional royal customs and we will be having a royal ceremony.
– What did you each wear to your session?
Annie: I wore a spring colorful flower prints dress and Eric wore a dark blue pant and light blue shirt
– What kind of look were you going for?
Annie: We were going for a candid and whole body photo with our dog. We bring our dog “Luno” so she’s also in the photo with us.
– Do you have any tips or advice for other couples about to have engagement photos taken?
Annie: Yes; I believe you should never think too much while posing for the picture- just try to relax and live in the moment. Also, smile and know your best side/angle and just have fun!!! Lastly, trust your photographer- Don’t worry about looking silly. As long as you’re confident with your photographer and comfortable with what you’re wearing, you’ll be happy with the results.
